Preventative Care

What does preventative care mean?

Preventative care is a term that encompasses many interventions or screenings that can be done to help prevent illness, disease and other major health problems in your pet. Preventative care for your pet includes regular wellness exams and vaccinations, maintaining parasite control (flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal worms), maintaining a healthy weight with proper nutrition, maintaining good oral health and routinely screening for parasites and age-related diseases.
